As we engage in a year filled with learning and growth, I wanted to extend an invitation for you to become involved in your kiddo’s classroom by volunteering! Our volunteer times are the same each week: Tuesday-Thursday from 9:30-10:30. In-class volunteering will begin after Fall Break but if you would like to help out with projects that come up before then please let me know :).
What do classroom volunteers do?
Classroom volunteers are an invaluable asset to our teachers and students. They can help in various ways, such as:
Working with small groups: Volunteers may assist the teacher by leading small group activities in the hallway, focusing on reading, writing, or math skills.
* Clerical tasks: Volunteers may help with photocopying, organizing materials, or preparing classroom displays.
* Special projects: Volunteers may lend a hand with special projects like painting and various other art-related activities.
* Having a great time working with the kiddos that yours mentions at home! It is a great way to put a face to a name and see who your kiddo is connecting with at school 🙂
How can you get involved?
I understand that everyone has different schedules and availability. Some may not have the schedule allowing for them to come into the school but would like to work on tasks at home and that is okay with me 🙂 If you are interested in volunteering, please use the link below to sign up for an in-class experience or contact me via email and let me know if you would be interested in working on things at home outside of school hours.
I look forward to partnering with you to create a positive and supportive learning environment for your kiddo!
