I am absolutely thrilled to welcome your child to kindergarten! My name is Mary Hastings, and I am beginning my 25th year of teaching. I have had the privilege of teaching kindergarten, first, and second grade, and I truly love working with our youngest learners. These early years are filled with curiosity, wonder, excitement, and incredible growth, and I feel so fortunate to be part of each child's journey.
Outside of the classroom, I am a proud mom to my son, Jack, who will be starting 10th grade at Rock Canyon High School. Jack keeps me busy with art projects, hiking adventures, and exploring new places together. We also have a one-year-old terrier boxer mix named Lola, who we adopted from the Denver Dog Fair. She has brought so much love, laughter, and energy into our home!
I feel truly honored to be your child's kindergarten teacher. My goal is to create a classroom where every child feels safe, valued, loved, and excited to learn. I can't wait to celebrate their growth, discoveries, and accomplishments throughout this incredible kindergarten year.
