Hello Kindie Families,

I hope you had a wonderful weekend!

We had a great week comparing and contrasting Gingerbread stories. They made great connections, learned about a double bubble map, and made some cute crafts. This week we will continue Gingerbread stories and introduce the different holidays.

If you have any family holiday cards, please send them in. The kids love looking at the pictures! I will hang them up.

Literacy

All letters have been introduced. I have taught letter formation and sounds with each letter. This week we will continue to review the letters and sounds of the alphabet.

Writing

We are working on drawing a picture with five or more details. Students are writing simple sentences using the sight words we learned. If they do not know how to spell a word they are stretching out the sounds they know to create their words.
