Mary Elizabeth Phillippe

Hello My Name Is...

Mary Elizabeth Phillippe

Mrs. Phillippe at Glacier National Park

My name is Mary Elizabeth Phillippe and I am thrilled to be joining the Kindergarten team at Timber Trail! I have taught Kindergarten through third grade as well as Gifted Education in Douglas County. During the 2023-2024 school year, I had the unique opportunity to develop gifted programming for universal preschool in Cherry Creek. My heart belongs to Kindergarten and after three years as a gifted education interventionist, I am eager to come back to teaching kindergarten.

I graduated from CSU in 2003 with Bachelors of Arts in Music in Piano and Oboe Performance and received my Elementary Education teaching license from Metro State. Staying active in music, I currently play in a professional handbell choir, Denver Bronze and spend my evenings singing, playing bells and my oboe.

As Colorado natives, my husband Casey and I have chosen to raise our two boys Cameron, 10 and Jacob, 3, in the beautiful state we have both always called home. I love to share my other passions with my boys, especially playing music, skiing and visiting national parks!

I look forward to sharing this great adventure called kindergarten with you! Thank you for trusting me with your child! I strongly believe in family and school partnership. Please feel free to reach out with questions, find ways to help in our classroom, or to just share amazing things happening with your student.
