Dear Families of 5th Graders,
Thank you to all of those parents who signed up to volunteer for our Young AmeriTowne events. The job interviews will take place this Thursday. I have asked your child to “dress to impress” on this day. Please send in the permission form for the TTE Trot as soon as possible and register online.

Friday, Sept. 22nd: No School
Friday, Sept. 29th: Kickball Game/Crazy Hair Day (for 5th grade)
Friday, Sept. 29th: Deadline for Young AmeriTowne registration on My School Bucks site
Math: Topic 3: Fluently Multiply Multi-Digit Whole Numbers, essons 1-4. Students will have multiplication fact practice each night on a colored paper worksheet.
Reading: Junior Great Books lessons with the theme of “Humility.” Nightly homework is reading for 20 minutes.
Writing: Journal prompts, Narrative Writing Unit
Science/Social Studies: (Project Based Learning): Young Ameritowne lessons which include economics, civil responsibility, free enterprise, and financial readiness
A Note from PTO about the Timber Trail Trot:
We need your support to reach our school goal of $40,000!
Please make sure you encourage your student to register! All students who register will get to participate in CRAZY HAIR DAY on Thursday, September 21st (September 29th for 5th grade)! Once your student is registered, they can then share their link to family and friends via text, email and social media to help them raise money for the school.
